Advice

Below are a couple of changes I would implement using new media.

- Create a social media page - Here all current students/alumni that are able to collaborate. This would be very similar to Facebook and LinkedIn combined. Students will be able to connect to a specific person/group, ask questions and get a response quickly. Students can also connect with alumni and get all sort of information. This will be a strictly professional environment. College faculty members will be able to join to create a strong transparency among students and faculties.

- Make a Baruch app - This will be a mobile app of the Baruch's website. Baruch is extremely inefficient in getting information across students clearly. In this app, all three of Baruch schools will be integrated with the same layout for ease of access. Here all information regarding majors, minors, clubs, any requirements and etc would be found. This website will be continuously updated with new information as things change on a daily base. The app will also update every semester to provide contact information for all students/faculty pertaining to their new classes.

- Incorporate RFID chips in all ID cards, this will solve all sort of swiping issues in all the entries. This could be also used as attendance for all classes.

-  Incorporate all necessary pages into one (Blackboard, CUNYfirst, FACTS, Degreeworks). This was recently done but it could be still improved. Instead, all CUNY colleges should have their own portal so it can be integrated into specific school to match their needs. All these four pages could be incorporated into one UI so students can obtain relevant information within seconds.

Let me know which ideas you would like to come live!!!
